SOA AND SAAS

Service-oriented architecture (SOA) is a set of design principles written to use during the phases of systems development and integration in software development. SOA focused on the development of interoperable, reusable services that can be consumed by multiple isolated systems for the purpose of integration.

Software as a service (SAAS) sometimes referred to as "software on demand" is software that is deployed over the internet and/or is deployed to run behind a firewall on a local area network or personal computer and developed on the bases of SOA design principles.
